Prayer Topic, "Keep Doubt Away"

Join Us in Prayer for our Nation, our Leaders and Topics of Concern for the week of 10/09/15 - 10/15/15

Keep Doubt Away

Unbelief is instability. Abraham was to be the father of a great nation, and for years he waited; his trust waivered and he went ahead of God, having a son by Hagar. But then he doubted the Lord’s promise no longer, giving only glory to Him and growing stronger in his faith until the promise was fulfilled in Isaac. “That is why his faith was ‘counted to him as righteousness.’” (Romans 4:22)

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith.
Romans 4:20

Has your faith weakened? Is there instability in your life, uncertainty on the job or an attitude of rebellion at school? Is government corruption making you doubt that any good will prevail? Or is it closer to home…has pain or sorrow made you doubt God’s goodness?

God’s promise is true. He “will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5) His plan is to work all things together for good for those who believe (Romans 8:28). In everything, give Him thanks and praise – keep unbelief and doubt away. Trust Him to give you peace. Grow in your faith as you study His Word. Then intercede for this nation and your family…for the stability that only belief in God can give.

We apologize last week’s post did not go out.

We will resume Friday prayer post next week, God willing.

Always pray for our Nation, City, State, and County Government, even when a prayer post does not go out.

Thank you.

All prayer requests are made directly from our Presidential Prayer Leader.

We ask you all to pray for our leaders as the scripture says.

1 Timothy 2:1-3 (KJV)

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
