Prayer Topic, "Sing His Praise"

Join Us in Prayer for our Nation, our Leaders and Topics of Concern for the week of 2/12/16 – 2/18/16

Sing His Praise

Fantasia Barrino Taylor sang her way to win the third season of American Idol in 2004. Now Fantasia has a new goal for 2016. She wants to focus on God and use her profession to glorify Him. “Bringing in my New Year with worship was everything to me,” said Fantasia. “When Yahweh, which is God, who sits high and looks low, speaks, I listen. What I’ve come to realize is my ministry is right there on that stage.”

My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.
Psalm 51:14

“2016 will be a great year,” she continued, “but know this; the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. So he will only turn it up a little more, but the key is you pray a little more. What he should realize now about Fantasia Taylor is I can’t be stopped. If God is before me, that’s more than the whole world against me.”

It’s not natural to sing and praise God when you are going through challenges…but when your next trial begins, praise Him. Even when you don’t understand what He’s doing in your life or in the nation, worship – and watch your attitude change! As you sing praises, also pray that America’s leaders will seek to glorify Him.
