No Compromise
Islamist
militants continue their barbarous rampaging in the Middle East and across
North Africa, targeting individuals, including Christians, for torture or
worse. They seem to get perverse satisfaction from posting their brutality on
social media for the world to see. As for the Christians, they could have paid
a high tax to the terrorists or converted to Islam to save their lives – but they
chose not to compromise.
Can we find a man like this, in whom is the
Spirit of God?
Genesis 41:38
|
Joseph
was an uncompromising man. He was God’s man in slavery, in prosperity, and in
the palace of the king. Even in prison, Joseph was God’s man. Through
everything he trusted the Lord and Him alone. He prayed…and he knew God
listened.
It’s easy to show you possess the Spirit of God within, but openly confessing your faith is a bit more difficult. Are you praying for yourself and others in your circle to have uncompromising and bold Joseph-like faith when the days grow more troubling? Add to your intercessions members of Congress and America’s courts to know Jesus Christ and His Father and find no-compromise courage to stand for God.

Louisiana Governor to Issue ’Religious Freedom’ Executive
Order
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal will issue an executive order on
religious freedom, he said in a statement just hours after a similar bill died
in the state legislature.
The
order is meant to protect residents from "discriminating against persons
or entities with deeply held religious beliefs." "We are disappointed
by the [legislative] committee’s actions to return the Louisiana Marriage and
Conscience Act to the calendar," Jindal said in a statement. ("Thank God for the State of
Louisiana taking a stand to protect our rights to serve the Lord our God!" Evangelist Waters)
"This Executive Order will prohibit the state from denying
or revoking a tax exemption, tax deduction, contract, cooperative agreement,
ban, professional license, certification, accreditation, or employment on the
basis the person acts in accordance with a religious belief that marriage is
between one man and one woman." Jindal’s decision comes just months after
governors of Indiana and Arkansas backed down amid criticism that similar
legislation would effectively sanction discrimination against gays and lesbians
and could lead to businesses denying them services. Governors in both states
walked back their support for the laws and called for fixes that protected
people from discrimination.
Jindal announced a presidential exploratory committee Monday and
has said that he will decide whether to seek the nomination in June.

As the Lord leads, please pray:
- About whether refusing to participate in gay or lesbian wedding activities can be based on religious freedom. "Yes it can, we are not to partake in another persons sins." Evangelist Waters- I won't help you rob a bank, I won't be an accessory to the fact, so I won't particpate in you breaking God's law: Same Sex Marriage is sinful and wrong. Gay and lesbian is against God's law. Read Romans 1:24-32 see it below)The word of God is right all by itself!
- About the assaults on Christianity and the sanctity of marriage from so many sides in today’s America.

Romans 1:24-32 King James Version (KJV)
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
(KJV)
As Christians we need to take a stand for our religious rights, belief, and freedom. We cannot participate in the sins of others. We cannot help someone steal, kill, lie, or same sex marriage. We must obey God's law. And if man's law is contrary to God's law, we must obey God's law.
If you do not believe in God or his holy word, it does not make the Word of God of none affect. I believe in God and my belief must be protected, my religious freedom must be protected. My right to serve God according to the Holy Bible must be protected. I will also have an upcoming bible study on this topic of "same sex marriage" TBD.
